  Our Dormitory Style rooms are the perfect fit for your youth or adult retreat.  Clark Hall & Parkside Lodge are NEWLY REMODLED, and, ready to welcome your group!  With 5 sets of bunks in each room (accommodating 10 people per room), private bathrooms & 2 shower stalls, these rooms are the perfect economical – yet comfortable room for your attendees.

  Lake Williamson can accommodate 1200+ people in our lodging & meeting rooms.  You also have access to our wide variety of recreation!

  We still have availability for Dormitory Style rooms on the following weekends…June 4-6, June 11-13, June 18-20, July 2-4, July 9-11, July 16-18, and August 13-15th.  We are offering a 10% discount to book your event on a summer weekend right now!

• Meet & Greet: Paul Weber
  

  Paul Weber joined Lake Williamson & Midwest Christian Retreat’s Group Accounts Team in February.  He will specifically focus on our Michigan Region sites – Faholo Christian Conference Center and Lost Valley Christian Conference Center.

  Paul comes to us from Lincoln, IL, where he served for over 19 years as the Youth & Associate Pastor of Neighbors to Nations Church.  Paul and his wife, Lori, have two children – Matthew and Brittany who are both married and live in the Bloomington/Normal area.  In his free time, Paul enjoys fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family.

  Paul has a special bond with Lake Williamson.  In 1978, he attended a youth camp here and responded to his call into full-time ministry in the auditorium.  He’s excited to begin this new chapter in his life and he wants to “give back a part of what Lake Williamson gave to me.”

• Youth Pastor's Tips for Offsite Ministry (Part 1)
  

  Tip One: When God gives you a desire or dream for offsite ministry with your group, GO FOR IT!!! Without any doubt or fear allow God to use this special time to minister to your group.  God can do awesome things as you set aside time for Him. Even believe for the finances to pull off this special event!!! 

  Tip Two: Set goals and PICK A THEME. You may have specific needs in your group.  Certain goals or themes can help focus on these needs!  Allow God to lead and guide you for specific details.  Nothing is too difficult for God!!! Let Midwest Christian Retreats help you plan your next big event.

  Tip Three: Spend time praying and fasting and WATCH GOD WORK.  Sometimes as humans we tend to limit God.  In reality should we limit what He can do?  Especially, when a certain time is set aside for Him? I often think of the Scripture found in Matthew 6:33 “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” (New King James Version)

  Remember God is Faithful to do what He said He would do!

• I'll be at Equip this Weekend!
  

  Just a quick note...  I'll be at Equip Ministries Conference this weekend, Feb 26-27!  Come by and say hello!  The booth with ecked out in Lake Williamson & Eagle Crest style.  We'll be giving away a three-day/two-night family R&R to an attendee of the convetion this weekend!  The conference always has some really great seminars for pastors and lay people work lead ministries in their church.  If you're in the Peoria are make plans to attend the Equip Conference!
